Saturdate ♥

(mushroom soup with garlic bread)

(Sirloin steak with Aglio Olio pasta)

(moist chocolate cake)

It was past 4PM when I finished laundrying! Then my BF fetched me around 5:00 and we headed downtown to dine at his favorite steakhouse ~ Hot Tomato . An hour and thirty later, we went to Bugis junction overspending half of my salary on those enthralling dresses and clothings which were indeed really tempting.. Lol! Kidding aside, I would never ever squander 50% of my salary just to buy those worldly things coz hey I need to save for the rainy season. *wink.

Anyway, just to give my self a li'l credit for the one month hardwork, I just bought 2 dresses which didn't cost me that much and 3 pairs of earrings, not bad right? I was also enticed to buy some trendy footwears & chic tote bags but just thought that I still have a few in the house but will just wait and see in the next few weeks how my budgeting skills would go because as hearsay, don't save after spending, but spend after saving. Finally, we ended the night watching the Rise of the guardians which I can say it brings out the child in me. Hope you can watch it too. :)

Our 26th! ♥

Last week was our monthsary and it wouldn’t be that complete without our favorite activity which is pigging out at some pricy resto here in Singapore! I’ve managed to take some snapshots of the mouthwatering meals we devoured on that day. Anyway, monthsary is quite identical to an anniversary, but it is celebrated in terms of months, as opposed to anniversaries which are celebrated in terms of years. The only difference is that there are only 11 monthsaries for a certain event; the 12th would already be an anniversary.

On that same day, he never failed to surprise me, when he gave me this wristlet & a tote bag from one of the leading American designer and maker of luxury lifestyle handbags and accessories. Wee!  Though, I didn't receive any flowers on that special day which I've expected he’d give me one nonetheless still celebrating it once a month is worth remembering. I’m just happy and thankful to God that we have reached this far despite of our indifferences and those shortcomings we've gone through over the last 26 months. I’m looking forward to celebrate more mothsaries & anniversaries with him. :)

Hmm.. I’m wondering what’s gonna be his next surprise or getaway on our 3rd anniversary. Would it be "another" out of the country escapade?? Yehey!!! Can’t wait for it.. Liao! ♥

As I couldn't get over with my pasta cravings since last weekend, what I had for yesterday's dinner was this mouth-watering Tomato Pasta brought to you by one of the Tokyo's "fast-steak" resto, ~Pepper Lunch. :)  It's a bit pricy but it's worth your every penny.

Pigging out!

Pork steak, mushroom corn soup and pasta for brunch! How about that?? Lol. Just woke up a lil late today and am a bit lazy to hit the kitchen. That's why, I just went out to check for some fancy resto nearby my crib. Drool!
Happy Sunday y'all! ♡

Bought this for around 5 Singapore dollars, good deal for a delectable Japanese cuisine. Bon Apetite!

*Sushi (すし, 寿司, , , 寿斗, 寿し, 壽司?) is a Japanese food consisting of cooked vinegared rice (shari) combined with other ingredients (neta), usually raw fish or other seafood. Neta and forms of sushi presentation vary, but the ingredient which all sushi have in common is vinegared rice called sushi-meshi. (Wikipedia)

Located in the heart of Davao City along the busy streets of Rizal lurks the most cozy and elegant Dutch bistro "De Bonte Koe." De Bonte Koe the restaurant-pub-steak house is located inside the Habana Compound. TRANSLATED into Dutch, it literally means "the spotted (or colorful) cow.” In the Netherlands (Holland), however, it has a double meaning, an expression used when you do something funny or naughty. According to Dutch owner, Henny Smits, the goal is to give customers "comfortable surroundings, quality time, and service with a naughty attitude."

So if you happen to visit Davao, don't miss to drop by at this chic and sophisticated resto where  they served an array of delectable & succulent gourmets and European cuisines at reasonable prices. I have tasted their perfectly cooked slab of juicy, tender and well seasoned steaks and it is kick-ass delicious and very addictive. Will definitely visit again the place, soon.

When we were about to take our dinner, I was a bit excited to try something new that will served as a side dish for our dinner. So, I somewhat concocted this Pechay(Cabbage) Chips.. It's just that my mom bought a handful of Cabbages from her friend(suki) in the Market and came into my mind to concoct something from that cabbages.. Well my mom's friend just picked those cabbages from her garden, ergo it's all fresh and free from the harmful insecticides.

Anyway, about it's ingredients, you will only be needing a few of fresh cabbage leaves tear into smaller pieces or any sizes you want, an egg, flour, seasoning, salt and pepper to taste.. All you have to do is coat the pechay leaves with scrambled egg and mixed flour with seasoning then fry it in a saucepan with hot oil on it.. After frying let it absorb the oil in a towel paper and then it's ready to serve. Mayonnaise is the best complement for this Chips and I'm sure you will really like it's taste..It's healthy because it's a pure veggy unlike those junk foods that we always bought on groceries/super stores, which has a lot of preservatives that is not good for our health. Once you taste it, you can stop but dip it on Mayo..Bon Appetit!

These are some of the pictures taken yesterday when my elder sister Erica decided to treat me and my twin sis joy... I thought it's her payday but its not, she just wanted to have this bonding moment with her beautiful sisters (LoL) since it has been a long time ago when we had our ladies out. When we arrived at SM (one of the shopping malls here in Davao) , we immediately headed to a photo studio for some chic snapshots, then did a little strolling and shopping and when we got exhausted, we proceeded at Bigby’s to fill our stomachs. We ordered several dishes which encompass Rodeo Chops, Tsunami Chips, Fudgie Sensation, Choco Loco, Spice Safari Pasta, Midnight Dream, and Strawberry Milkshake. Whew! What a heavy dinner we had, but of course we didn’t consume the entire foodstuff that we ordered so we decided to take it as a Pasalubong for our Mom and Dad who were left in the house. When the mall was about to closed, my sister Erica opted to visit the People’s Park since she haven’t been there yet and it would be her first time to visit the talked about park here in Davao and so I immediately drove them off to the park. It was already 11pm when we went home worrying who’s gonna open the door for us. Good thing is my Dad is still awake watching some News on TV. Well, here are some of the Pics I got from our Ladies Out...

My very first entry for this Wordless Wednesday..
Dough nuts for sale! This photo was taken last Sunday after the 5th mass. Our Rosary Group decided to have a refreshment to quench our thirst and fill our hunger at Panadero bakeshop just a stone's throw from our Church and bought some of these donuts. Lol.. What a colorful donuts.. Maybe in some other time, I will concoct a donut of my own..

FYI: A doughnut, or donut, is a sweet, deep-fried piece of dough or batter. The two most common types are the torus-shaped ring doughnut and the filled doughnut, a flattened sphere injected with jam/jelly, cream, custard, or another sweet filling. A small spherical piece of dough, originally made from the middle of a ring doughnut, may be cooked as a doughnut hole.(condensed from Wikipedia)
