It was past 4PM when I finished laundrying! Then my BF fetched me around 5:00 and we headed downtown to dine at his favorite steakhouse ~ Hot Tomato . An hour and thirty later, we went to Bugis junction overspending half of my salary on those enthralling dresses and clothings which were indeed really tempting.. Lol! Kidding aside, I would never ever squander 50% of my salary just to buy those worldly things coz hey I need to save for the rainy season. *wink.
Anyway, just to give my self a li'l credit for the one month hardwork, I just bought 2 dresses which didn't cost me that much and 3 pairs of earrings, not bad right? I was also enticed to buy some trendy footwears & chic tote bags but just thought that I still have a few in the house but will just wait and see in the next few weeks how my budgeting skills would go because as hearsay, don't save after spending, but spend after saving. Finally, we ended the night watching the Rise of the guardians which I can say it brings out the child in me. Hope you can watch it too. :)
Watch the trailer hereAfter my work, my BF immediately fetched me and decided to watch a movie so we headed immediately at NCCC mall. After our dinner, we were taken aback when saw myriads of people falling in line to watch the Premier of 10, 000 B.C. so we also bought tickets and ride with the flow.
Basically, the movie's title is "10,000 B.C.," but its characters and story line hark back to the first two decades of the last century, the era of D.W. Griffith. You have an outcast and an orphan, a boy who needs to become a man, a girl who needs rescuing, evil slave traders, noble savages and a revolt of the suffering masses.

The story begins among a remote mountain tribe, who are white, speak English and hunt mammoths. Except that those woolly beasts are descending into their snowy valley with greater infrequency because of, yes, climate change.
A prophecy by its spiritual leader, Old Mother (Mona Hammond), lays out all three acts: Four-legged demons -- slave traders on horses -- will raid the village and capture many young people, including the beautiful orphan girl Evolet (Camilla Belle), who caught the eye of young hunter D'Leh (Steven Strait) when she was a child.
His pursuit of her and her captors along with his mentor Tic Tic (Cliff Curtis) and the very young Baku (Nathanael Baring) will turn him into a warrior and galvanize other tribes to join in the quest to overthrow an evil civilization and religion that has enslaved so many people.
Getting to the riverside home of this Aztec-like civilization, intent on building pyramids through slavery and human sacrifice, is half the fun. En route, D'Leh -- pronounced Delay -- and his gang encounter fierce beasts such as a thing that looks like a giant turkey buzzard and another one that looks like a giant saber-toothed tiger.
Then the motley crew hits a primordial jungle, where they encounter a black tribe. Its leader, Nakudu (Joel Virgel), whose ability to speak English is reasonably explained, sees D'Ley as the answer to his tribe's own prophecy, so the invasion force gets that much bigger. Next comes a vast desert, where more tribes join the rebellion.
Strait makes a convincing hero as his youth, athleticism and earnestness stand in him in good stead. Belle does manage to suggest a bit more depth to her character as she is anything but a poor girl quietly acquiescing to her captivity. Curtis and Virgel are solid as aging tribal leaders looking to pass on their dearly purchased wisdom.

Jumper Synopsis - A teenager from an abusive household discovers he can teleport from one place to another. He uses this ability to search for the man he believes is responsible for the death of his mother, drawing the attention of the NSA, and another kid with the same power.
This is truly an amazing movie we've watched yesterday together with my BF. I really admire Hayden Christensen, he is so damn hot..Lol.. This is a must see movie for those who are sci-fi fanatics.. It's really cool.. I love it, traveling to any places just in one snap of your finger. Isn't it amazing, huh?
Actually Hayden is portraying Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith. Hayden Christensen was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on April 19th of 1981. His parents David & Alie Christensen are in the communications business "Christensen Communications". Hayden grew up in Markham, Ontario, Canada, one of four children (Kaylen, Hejsa, Tove). Although his aspirations changed and regardless of not having his father's approval, Hayden set out to become an actor when a chance encounter at the age of eight placed him in his first commercial, for Pringles. When he was thirteen he began his starring roles in several dramatic television shows. His big break came with Fox Family's troubled youth show "Higher Ground" (2000).

Devoted and loyal, the family man currently resides in both Toronto and Los Angeles. When not working, Hayden enjoys spending quality time with his family - such as big brother Tove, hanging out with his friends, and exploring other hobbies such as the blues, jazz and piano.
