After the rain comes a terrible plague
0 Comments Posted by Catsy_Carpe Diem at Saturday, March 22, 2008Yesterday, right after the rainfall, I just noticed the emergence of winged termites outside our house specifically near windows and through our doors. I really hate them making a thud and leaving something like a foul smell. Well, I guess this infestation is very rampant right after the rain showers. And perhaps by tomorrow I will start buying products such as termite baits or some termite buster to resolve these termite problems.
Do not charge your mobile phone the whole night and DON'T keep it near you while charging. HOPE YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS!!! Never, ever answer a cell phone while it is being RECHARGED!! A few days ago, a person was recharging his cellphone at home. Just at that time, a call came in and he answered it with the instrument still connected to the outlet. After a few seconds, electricity flowed into the cell phone unrestrained and the young man was thrown to the ground with a heavy thud. His parents rushed to the room only to find him unconscious, with a weak heartbeat and burnt fingers. He was rushed to the nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Cell phones are a very useful modern invention. However, we must be aware that it can also be an instrument of death. Never use the cell phone while it is hooked to the electrical outlet!
